Dr. Danielle Marchildon ND received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo and her graduate ND degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She then moved back to her roots to service the Orangeville area as a Naturopathic Doctor and to raise her five beautiful children.
Dr. Danielle has established a busy family practice, treating all dynamics of the family unit. She successfully treats a variety of conditions such as mental health, fertility issues, digestive concerns, various skin conditions, and chronic pain. Her assessments and treatments are founded using the scientific medical model and she applies evidence-based medicine to each protocol. She has a good rapport with medical doctors in our community which helps bring integrity to your healthcare team.
Additional services offered by Dr. Danielle include food intolerance testing, salivary hormone testing, hair or urine heavy metal testing, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, and labour induction acupuncture.
Dr. Danielle carries a naturopathic medical license for Ontario, and maintains current registration with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She has also successfully obtained her prescribing licence, which has given her access to prescribe bio-identical hormones, and dessicated thyroid. She regularly updates her knowledge base by attending Naturopathic continuing education seminars throughout North America.
Offered, free of charge, by Dr. Danielle is a 15 minute meet and greet where you are able to sit down with her and briefly share your health concerns. She will then explain her approach to your specific situation and you can then decide if you would like to move forward.
What to expect at your first appointment:
Your first appointment is when you will spend the most time with Dr. Danielle (approximately 1 hour) and will be spent going over your health concerns and will include a relevant physical exam. During this initial consultation, she will collect the information required to make an assessment of your situation. In most cases, some form of initial treatment will be implemented at this time. This may include any combination of dietary recommendations, lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, homeopathic remedies, or supplements. Your complete treatment protocol will be established at your first follow-up visit as this allows her time to gather any testing or imaging she may need, as well as make sure your protocol meets the most current research standards. Subsequent visits will be booked as to review your progress and make appropriate changes to your program.
