Jordan Smith, Social Worker

As someone who has been personally involved with the mental health system, Jordan empathizes and understands the overwhelming feelings and stigma that often leads someone to shy away from seeking support. Working from a strength-based perspective, Jordan believes in empowering each and every client, reminding them that they are the expert of their lives and already have an abundance of resiliency and coping strategies. Through therapy, together you and Jordan will work to redefine, reclaim, and reconnect your strength and innate abilities to heal.

Jordan received her Masters of Social work from the University of Toronto, specializing in mental health and addictions. Jordan is focused on compassionate, strength-based, and client-centred care all while using a motivational and recovery-orientated approach.

**Jordan charges an hourly fee that is consistent with the guidelines set out to OASW. Many private insurance companies cover the cost of counselling/psychotherapy by a registered social worker, so please check with your individual provider for your coverage amount.
