Hi,
Tuesday is back to school for us here in Ontario and that means school lunches and I must admit i have not missed prepping for school lunches. Just because I am a Nutritionist it doesn’t mean I love to cook or that I’m good at it. I spend time in the kitchen preparing healthy meals and snacks because I want my family and myself to be healthy and I know how important it is to help my kids learn to make healthy food choices. As a busy Mum I also need to be super organized to keep our days running smoothly.

I remember in April of this year I found myself slipping into making the same things again and again for Ben for example, one of his favourite lunches is a smorgasboard or raw veggies, cheese, some form of protein and some crackers so instead of just putting them all in a container like I would normally do I made him little kebabs. He thought it was the best thing ever and apparently his friends loved it too! See, I used the same lunch but just presented it in a different yet simple way and Ben felt like he was getting something brand new.
