Introducing Mackenzie!

admin/ February 13, 2017/ Mackenzie Seymour/

This blog will soon be taken over by Mackenzie himself, but first, here’s a little bit about him:

Mackenzie Seymour is new on the scene, and excited to be joining the health care community in Orangeville and surrounding area! Graduated with Honours from Georgian College in Massage Therapy, registrant of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario, Mackenzie has three years of theoretical and practical training in massage.

You should consider massage therapy for acute or chronic pain management (fibromyalgia, arthritis), repetitive strain injuries (occupational or professional), pregnancy, post-athletic recovery, post-operative recovery, stress relief, and mental and emotional regulation.

Practitioners of massage therapy learn comprehensive musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, pathology, orthopaedic assessment, and neuroanatomy in order to create specialised and effective massage therapy treatments according to evidence-based clinical findings.  In addition to this, Mackenzie plans to continue his education and expand his knowledge to better care for the community.
